A Birthday Wish For The Animals
At the HBSPCA, we know that your child's first birthday is a momentous occasion that you'll cherish forever. That's why we were thrilled when Harrison's family chose to make his first birthday extra pawsome by supporting our shelter.
In 2015, Harrison's family visited the HBSPCA to adopt Cash, a wonderful Newfoundland mix with a heart of gold. He’s been an important part of their family ever since, and a source of endless laughter and joy in their home. Harrison's mother, Jessica, says, "Cash is special beyond explanation. He has the most amazing & goofy personality while being the keeper of order and rules in our household. He is a gentle giant and has been the protector of both our young boys."
When Harrison's family decided to ask for donations to the HBSPCA instead of birthday gifts, we couldn't have been more grateful. Their generosity helped provide much-needed care and support for the animals in our shelter. Every donation makes a difference in our ability to help animals like Cash find their furever homes.
We rely on the kindness and support of our community to continue our mission, and there are various ways you can help. You can make a donation to the HBSPCA in honor of your special occasion or set up a recurring monthly gift. You can also donate needed items from our Amazon wish list or volunteer your time at our shelter. Your support is crucial in funding vital programs and initiatives that help animals like Cash find their furever homes.
